What You’ll Be Doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Supporting students with a range of needs/ages throughout their school day.
* Building strong relationships and fostering communication, ideally holding experience/understanding ofBSL Level 1/2orMakaton.
* Manual handlingand assisting withpersonal carewhile keeping every child’s dignity and happiness front and center.
* Collaborating with the highly experienced and impressive teaching staff to create the best learning experience possible.

About the Successful SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Experienceworking with SEND students – especially those with PMLD and complex needs.
* Confidence withmanual handlingandpersonal care.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a big heart.
* BSL Level 1 or 2orMakatonknowledge
* ADBS on the update serviceor the willingness to apply for one.
* At leasttwo strong referencesto back up how excellent you are.
