Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-16:15 Salary: £12-£15/Hour inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay Contract: Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant: Build meaningful relationships with students, helping them feel safe and supported. Promote personal growth and independence while encouraging positive behaviour. Assist in delivering engaging, differentiated educational activities. Support classroom operations and adapt to the school’s needs. Help foster students’ cognitive, emotional, and social development. Provide support with personal care, when required. SEN Teaching Assistant Skills & Requirements: Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is highly desirable. A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to working with children. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and promoting the welfare of young people. A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one). Must be able to commute to near Enfield, North London.
