About the Company:
Guided by empathy and determination, our client's mission is to make a lasting impact by improving the lives of those in need through compassionate support. With a strong community network and extensive experience in working with children, our client has dedicated their specialised homes to cater to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues, challenging behaviour, and other complex care needs.
The Role:
You will be responsible to the Registered Manager for the day-to-day duties within the home and the care and support of the Young People. You'll implement and follow the home's operational policies and the care practice standards. You'll have plenty of opportunities to provide and ensure that care is within a warm and supportive atmosphere. You'll implement individual care plans to ensure the welfare of each Young Person and offer support and guidance to bank staff and volunteers.
You won't be alone and will be working with a well-trained team. The home managers will show you how to get things done and have fun. Throughout your time with the company, you'll receive one of the best support systems for your progression. If you do not have a Level 3 qualification, we will enrol you in this qualification and offer you plenty of training to ensure you have the guidance and attributes to flourish.
What You Will Need:
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children, specifically those with learning difficulties or emotional behaviour disorders. A 'can do' attitude is essential, as is being a team player. Honesty and empathy are a must! The resilience to deal with challenging situations and a full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months are also required. If you don't have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), our client will pay for you to study and support you every step of the way.
