The are now looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales & New Business Development Manager to join their growing team. Job Summary: This newly created, strategic position will have a primary focus of developing and selling our award-winning suite of EPOS products to convenience and forecourt retailers within the Island of Ireland. With a HQ in Northern Ireland, this position is a mix of field sales and remote-based account management, with the successful candidate having full autonomy to build their own network and grow the company’s client base. This role is open for people living in Northern Ireland, to work across the Island of Ireland. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify, target, and engage with independent retailers across Ireland to generate new sales opportunities for EPOS systems. Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation, cold calling, networking, and referral-based activities. Client Presentations & Demos: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the benefits and features of our EPOS systems to potential clients. Sales Strategy: Work with the senior management team to devise and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals and market conditions. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, business owners, and key stakeholders in the retail industry. Negotiation & Closing Deals: Lead negotiations and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the technical, customer support, and implementation teams to ensure seamless service delivery post-sale. Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to management on a regular basis. Post-Sales Support: Provide ongoing account management and support to clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention. Key Requirements: Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of successful sales experience in EPOS systems, preferably within the independent retail sector. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the independent retail industry, with a focus on technology and business solutions. Sales-Driven: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with experience in building a sales pipeline from scratch. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions in a clear and compelling way to non-technical audiences. Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay motivated in a remote working environment. Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and offer excellent post-sale customer service. Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with EPOS systems, software, and integrations; ability to understand and convey the technical aspects of the solution. Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to travel across the island of Ireland to meet with clients, attend events, and conduct sales presentations as needed. Driving License: A valid driving license is essential. Preferred Qualifications: Experience selling EPOS systems specifically to independent retailers or small business sectors. Established network and relationships within the retail sector across Ireland. Familiarity with retail operations, inventory management, payment solutions, and related technology.
