Reed Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a returning client with an Accounts Payable Clerk requirement in Bracknell. This opportunity is initially a temporary contract for 3 months but could be extended. The ideal candidate will be immediately available to start a new contract in December. This opportunity would suit someone who is looking to get into an Accounts position, and are potentially studying or have studied AAT. The day to day of this Accounts Payable role: Scanning and uploading invoices onto the system Cross-referencing spreadsheets to ensure invoices are coded correctly Manually processing and coding approximately 40-50 invoices per day, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy Managing invoicing tasks to ensure timely and correct processing, enabling invoices to be paid on time Required skills and qualifications for this Accounts Payable opportunity: Training provided Ability to start immediately Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling invoices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior use of accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Ability to thrive in a busy environment carrying out a high volume of work This opportunity is within a friendly and welcoming team for a business that has, and continues to, grow rapidly.
