DIGITAL CONTENT ASSISTANT INTERNSHIP Whisper is a leading global production company, specialising in sports, unscripted and branded entertainment. We are looking for a creative digital content assistant to join Whisper’s fast-paced Digital Department. We encourage applications from women to improve gender diversity in the digital sector. Reporting to Whisper’s Creative Director of Digital, the role will include working with the creative team editing and publishing a range of video, written, audio and visual content. The position would suit a creative interested in learning and progressing within a digital content environment, especially those passionate about increasing gender diversity in the industry. It could suit entry level talent with relevant skills or a junior creative with some hands-on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in developing their editing, self-shooting, script-writing and production skills. An interest in and knowledge of digital media content, including sports like football, tennis and motorsports would be advantageous. A knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable. This is a 12-month opportunity to be part of our growing Whisper family, learning and working with some of the best creative and technical minds in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Research features to be produced according to the upcoming content schedule Help shoot behind the scenes and as a third camera on selected shoots Create rough edits to be finished by editor for digital projects Create compilation edits Live clipping content from sporting events Managing and preparing rushes for edits Research and suggest new content ideas for various projects Assisting in general production across our digital projects Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of digital and social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and X) Experience using Adobe Creative suite apps; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop Experience in basic shooting, ideally on Sony cameras, including basic lighting kit and basic sound Ability to think creatively and to clearly communicate ideas and concepts, take onboard critique and deliver improved content after feedback. Demonstrate the potential to create engaging, entertaining, and original content High levels of attention to detail & an eye for visuals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills Ability to manage a substantial workload with strict deadlines on location and in an office environment Flexible and willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Comfortable with working on location and occasional weekend work. Working Days: Five days a week, four of which are from the Kew Offices in London, the other is WFH. For on location work, this role will require a degree of flexibility and occasional weekend working. You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements. Whisper offers the option of flexitime hours. When weekend work is required, DOILS will be provided.
