The Role
The Senior Trading Manager Acquisition is responsible for the commercial efficiency of our new customer acquisition trading KPI, from sale through to connection and bill payment. You will optimise the sales channel mix through online and agent channel sales.
You will have strong analytical skills and experience in using data to change the end-to-end sales journey to maximise conversion of available demand; be that demand an online visit to the sales website, an inbound or outbound call, or a face-to-face sales interaction. You will work to define Insight and Analytics requirements to benchmark changes in performance with price-proposition, sales channel mix and online content changes.
Strong stakeholder management is key, both internal with Tech development squads and external partners such as online affiliates.
The Team
The Commercial Team plays a crucial role in driving the financial success of TalkTalk Consumer, by managing revenue generating activities, business strategy and customer/supplier relationships. We understand the market context, influence better commercial outcomes and interlink Consumer KPI through the customer lifecycle to balance trading risks and opportunities.

Role Expectation
1. Responsible for the commercial efficiency of our new customer acquisition trading KPI, from sale through to connection and bill payment. You will optimise the sales channel mix through both online (direct / affiliate) and agent channel sales.
2. Responsible for developing online sales growth opportunities; creating, executing, and optimising online trading plans. Own the online acquisition conversion and new customer margin KPI.
3. Accountable for driving sales operations to improve agent sales channel conversion rates. This may be through harvesting prospect data from online visitors where the sale was not completed online, leveraging systems such as SaleCycle to drive next best action (be that an inbound or outbound call, or a face-to-face interaction).
4. Manage the day-to-day relationship with affiliate partners (for example AWIN and GiftCloud).
5. Drive changes to online content to support positioning of offers and other promotional activity. Tracking content changes / campaigns / banners and their impact on click-through rates and acquisition sales.
6. Responsible for ensuring the acquisition web pages are kept up to date with the correct offers, banners and product / brands.
7. Accountable for making the acquisition content changes to enable the Digital Marketing team to maximise SEO, PPC and other marketing techniques. Ensure the online strategy is aligned with the Paid, Display, Social and Affiliate marketing strategies.
8. Responsible for interlock with online development squads on roadmap development and supply of trading campaign briefs.
