Responsibilities:
Specialist Behaviour Support Workers are responsible for supporting people with learning disabilities and behavioural needs to live full lives, develop skills and maintain their wellbeing. This includes:
1. Providing information, social inclusion and vocational opportunities to support people to recover and stay well.
2. Helping individuals exercise choice and control in their care and lives.
3. Supporting participation on an equal footing in the community.
4. Developing a model of re-enablement towards self-advocacy, self-management and empowerment.
A full driving licence is required for this position.

What you'll bring:
Essential:
1. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Challenging Behaviour/learning disabilities.
3. Driving licence and a willingness to drive as part of support duties.
Desirable:
1. Experience of engaging vulnerable people with complex needs in meaningful activities.
