Join Our Client's EMEA Finance Change Team as a Finance Business Analyst!\n\nAre you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Our client, a leading financial institution headquartered in Japan, is seeking a talented Finance Business Analyst to join their dynamic EMEA Finance Change team. This exciting temporary position is based in London and offers a hybrid working pattern, requiring you to be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.\n\nContract Details:\n\nDuration: Until 31st March 2026\nWorking Pattern: Monday - Friday, standard office hours - out of hours and occassional weekend work will be required\nDay Rate: £700 via Umbrella Company\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nAs a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance function to deliver all Finance aspects of the Branch Transfer project.
Your responsibilities will include:\n\nPlanning & Documentation: Create a comprehensive transfer plan, including a run book, to ensure stakeholder buy-in and successful execution.\nData Analysis & Financial Modelling: Provide technical accounting input and conduct in-depth financial analysis.\nTesting & UAT: Prepare and execute user acceptance testing scripts to assess system changes effectively.\nCollaboration: Work closely with Finance teams in Paris and Frankfurt, and engage with various project workstreams.\nInnovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the organisation.What We Are Looking For:\nYou'll need to bring a blend of technical knowledge and practical experience, including:\n\nStrong understanding of technical accounting and familiarity with IFRS reporting standards.\nExperience in Finance transformation/change programmes within a Commercial or Investment Banking environment.\nAbility to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.\nProficiency in data analysis tools, including SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel.\nExcellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Your Skills & Experience:\n\nPrior experience in Commercial or Investment Banking, particularly with loan and securities systems like LoanIQ and Gloss.\nA background in project management, with a track record of leading data-related projects.\nStrong numerical and analytical skills, with experience in financial modelling and reconciliation.\nFamiliarity with Oracle Cloud and Oracle on-prem GL systems is advantageous.Perks of the Job:\n\nHybrid Working: Enjoy a flexible work environment with at least 3 days in the office.\nProfessional Growth: Gain valuable experience in a highly regarded organisation.\nDiverse Team Environment: Work alongside talented individuals committed to driving change and innovation.\n\nOur client is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
