KBR is looking for a Senior Technical Professional Leader - Structural to be responsible for leading the team in preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned: - Independently perform engineering analyses for operational phase (inplace, seismic), non-operational phase (loadout, transportation, lifting, floatover) and accidental phase (blast, fire, dropped object, ship impact) and carry out design of primary steel. - Perform secondary and tertiary steel design. - Provide input for Structural 3D modelling and drawing production Compile Design basis, project specifications and design reports as required. - Review vendor data from structural perspective Review analyses/ calculations performed by others, provide technical guidance and proactively resolve any discrepancies The work will involve liaising with client and 3rd party contractors and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets. REQUIREMENTS - Degree in Structural Engineering Design - Experienced in Conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering of offshore platforms and FPSO, excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver on quality and schedule. - Proficient user of SESAM GENIE and SESAM suite of software a prerequisite. - Proficiency to perform non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS is desirable. - In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902 and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes is a must. - Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment Ability to work in an office-based role KBR Company Information When you become part of the KBR team, your opportunities are endless.
