With over 100 pallets of automation, we can run unmanned shifts 24/7 to ensure efficiency and productivity. 5 AXIS CAD/CAM Programmer - HYPERMILL As a 5 AXIS CAD/CAM Programmer, you'll be an integral part of a High-Tech precision engineering company and its production processes, creating complex and interesting parts on our incredible quality 5 axis automated cells. Your responsibilities will include: CNC Programming : Create high quality 3 and 5 axis CNC programs using the latest Hypermill software. Technical Documentation : Keep track of all work using our Tricorn Scheduling software and input all data into the Shop Floor Data Capture to track efficiency of all jobs. Complex Part Programming : Tackle intricate high-precision components for CNC mills and lathes. Post Processor Resolution : Address any post-processing issues to ensure flawless execution. Shop Floor Collaboration : Work closely with our shop floor team to prove and optimise programs. Manufacturing Methods : Plan efficient manufacturing methods, including jig and fixture design. Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap. Estimating Support : Leverage your expertise to assist with cutting time estimates. Technical Assistance : Provide shop floor support as needed. Qualifications and Skills We're seeking a candidate with the following qualifications: Experience : Proven experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software (Hypermill). Precision Engineering : Familiarity with complex part programming for 3 and 5 CNC mills. Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot post-processor issues and optimise programs. Technical Acumen : Understanding of manufacturing methods and operating procedures. Collaborative Spirit : Willingness to work closely with our small yet friendly team.
