Your opportunity: We are looking to appoint a reliable and efficient Premises Assistant to deliver a high-quality service with a friendly manner and take pride in our school by always ensuring that it looks its best. To care for our buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs as well as managing site health & safety compliance checks. The post holder will be expected to liaise effectively with contractors and be willing to attend appropriate training courses. As a key holder, the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents. The successful candidate will be expected to respect the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment and will enjoy the rewards of working within a friendly and co-operative team and: Have experience in DIY / practical skills Be able to keep thorough health & safety records Be confident in using email and other online systems Be enthusiastic and committed to work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently Have good organisation skills Be friendly with good communication skills Motivated and enthusiastic Have a flexible approach About de Stafford School: de Stafford is a smaller than average mixed comprehensive school, catering to students aged 11-16 located in Caterham, Surrey. Start Date: ASAP Pay Scale: GLF Associate 3 Actual Salary: £24,272 to £27,586 (dependent on experience) Working Pattern: 36 hours per week – Monday to Friday on a shift pattern between the hours of 7am and 9.30pm Closing date: 25 November 2024.
