Come along to our Easter celebrations on Sunday 20th, Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd April at the Ulster Folk Museum, Cultra.Spring is in the air, and visitors are invited to celebrate Easter at the Ulster Folk Museum with fun for all the family.Visitors can discover the origins of the Easter egg, try their hand at themed crafts, and meet talented makers demonstrating heritage skills, including Easter card making in the Print Shop. They can also get involved with traditional games, sample tasty food, and enjoy live music.On Easter Monday (21st April) visitors will be treated to performances by the Ferguson Memorial Pipe Band throughout the day and can participate in a craft workshop with Annan's Arch, inspired by the mischievous creature from Gaelic folklore - the Púca! Plus, everyone's favourite Easter activity - egg rolling on the Bleach Green.This is a particularly rewarding role if you like meeting and talking to people and helping to deliver exceptional visitor experience. Set the tone for a fantastic day of exploration.* Providing Directions and Orientation: Guide visitors in navigating the museum's facilities. Help them find specific activities, workshops, and immersive experiences.* Craft Station: Inspire creativity at our craft station. Guide participants in making vibrant Easter bonnets and charming decorations. Help families and children create treasured keepsakes.* Food Sampling: Offer delectable Easter-themed treats to event attendees. Create a delightful culinary experience with scrumptious sweets and savoury delights.* Egg Rolling: Guide participants in the tradition of rolling eggs down grassy slopes. Foster friendly competition and laughter-filled moments.* Gathering Feedback from Visitors: Engage with visitors to collect their feedback on the event.
