About the Role:
To own the accurate control of stock and labelling of both Ingredients and Finished Goods. Ensuring physical and systemic accuracy on all pallet movements and stock adjustments. Conduct stock counts on a daily basis and recording the accuracy of stock on a weekly basis. Present findings to the wider department to enable improvement, learnings, and action.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure procedural compliance is adhered to at all times relating to the control of stock.
2. Conduct regular stock checks: Cycle, PI and adhoc stock checks.
3. Communicate with wider teams and present to the warehouse team on previous weeks' performance.
4. Maintain effective communication internally with other departments regarding stock control between the sites.
5. Communicate product stock accuracy to management and the wider team as a percentage on a daily and weekly basis, including necessary systemic stock adjustments.
6. Perform daily maintenance checks on Scissor Lift and other MHE used.
7. Report any machine breakdowns and hazards.
8. Report accidents promptly and in an appropriate manner.
9. Act as an ambassador for the business, behaving in a professional and courteous manner with both internal and external customers.
10. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by a Manager, unless specific training is required under health and safety rules.
11. Ensure all aspects of Due Diligence (Food Safety, Quality, and Legislation) are adhered to.
12. Take appropriate and reasonable action in the event of witnessing a breach (or potential breach) of Food safety, quality, or legislation.
Knowledge and Specific Skills:
Essential:
1. A minimum of 1 year of stock control experience.
2. A hardworking and dedicated professional who ‘gets the job done’.
3. Proficient computer skills.

6. Scissor Lift Licence.
