Job summary The Hotel Services Catering Assistant is responsible to the Hotel ServicesSupervisor to undertake a range of catering duties, which include thepreparation of beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches, buffets and cooking ofhot meals for both patients and staff within the Health Board. To carry outother relevant duties associated with the catering operation and periodicallythose as directed to support the wider Hotel Services Team e.g. cleaning orporter tasks. Main duties of the job We are looking to recruit bank Catering Assistants at Llanidloes You will support the local delivery of hotel services catering and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given. You will be working as part of a Rota that can include evenings and weekends.
