Our Exciting Opportunity Imagine having the opportunity to shape how thousands of people feel about the world around them—helping them see beyond the everyday and imagine a world where limitless connectivity makes the unimaginable possible. Are you passionate about the power of communication? Are you full of ideas about how storytelling can shape the way people feel? Can you strip away unnecessary noise to find the compelling narrative at the heart of a story? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in both internal and external communications for one of the world’s leading information and technology communications companies. As a graduate communications specialist, we don’t expect you to come with years of experience. Instead, you’ll bring fresh perspectives, boundless energy, and, most importantly, a passion for storytelling and a desire to work with people from a variety of backgrounds. In return, you’ll have the chance to support communications planning, channels, and campaigns spanning over 100 countries across Europe and Latin America. You’ll have an eye for engaging content and the ability to tailor your approach to deliver results across a variety of digital channels, including Viva Engage and LinkedIn. In this role, you’ll be working alongside some of the leading communicators in the industry, with a wealth of experience and expertise. You can expect to collaborate closely with them on various projects, while also having the space to take ownership of campaigns of your own. In a typical day, you can expect to support the communications team with both creative activities, such as communications campaigns or storytelling, and practical channel management, like activating our content on LinkedIn or acting as webmaster for our internal channels. In the morning, you might be discussing press releases with our team in Rome, while the afternoon could be spent interviewing colleagues in São Paulo for an internal video. If all that sounds like the kind of thing you’d love to be doing, then we’d love to hear from you. You will: Be passionate about technology and keenly aware of how connectivity can be used to benefit society and stimulate economic growth. An understanding of how 5G can play a more meaningful socio-economic role than previous mobile technology generations is a plus. Create content and deliver it the right way—using insights, best practices, and your experience to work end-to-end, from pitches to briefs, to create interesting and creative content. Be highly organized—managing communications across a wide audience, stories, and data. You’ll collaborate with channel owners to lead multiple calendars and planners, ensuring we’re up-to-date and delivering on time. Project management skills will be a huge asset Support impactful and efficient digital channels—working closely with a variety of teams to continuously review and assess our channel strategy, processes, and performance to drive and implement engaging digital communications. We’re here to shake things up, not follow patterns. Champion digital acceleration—ideally, you will have some experience across different channels and will inspire those around you with case studies, fresh ideas, and playbooks. To be successful in this role, you must have: A recently graduated degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field Exposure to digital channel strategies and leading channels Some experience in content production Strong English writing skills An understanding of audience insight and employee engagement A desire to inspire teams toward digital-centric communication Why join Ericsson?
