1. Debt Management: Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
2. Credit Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing financial data and credit reports.
3. Invoice Management: Ensure invoices are issued accurately and promptly, addressing discrepancies or disputes with customers.
4. Customer Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate efficient debt recovery.
5. Payment Plans: Negotiate and implement repayment plans with customers in arrears, when appropriate.
6. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, cash flow forecasts, and credit risks for management review.
7. Compliance: Ensure all credit control activities adhere to company policies, financial regulations, and legal requirements.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and improve processes.
