Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Sales Coordinator for this well-established Leeds-based manufacturer. The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent support to the sales team and sales engineers and high-quality customer service and support to clients. You will work closely within your team providing both sales and administrative support, liaising with sales, warehouse, and technical departments.
Your main responsibilities will be processing customer orders, producing invoices, dealing with incoming enquiries, and providing quotations. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or electronic sales environment would be a benefit. You will provide advice and support to customers and upsell suitable products that match their needs.
Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. To be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries
2. Produce accurate quotations
3. Process customer orders accurately
4. Produce and send out customer invoices and documentation
5. Assist the sales team by providing technical information and support
6. Maintain accurate data input on the ERP system
7. Provide customers with support and guidance
8. Liaise with suppliers
9. Coordinate and communicate delivery schedules
10. Assist sales team in maintaining and developing key accounts
11. Build client relations by understanding accounts, upselling, and suggesting alternative products
12. Maintain a good knowledge of all product features and benefits
Sales Coordinator Requirements:
1. Previous experience processing orders, invoices, and quotations
2. Experience using ERP systems
3. Excellent customer service and administration skills
4. A background working in electrical, construction or distribution sales environment
5. Experience in sales, sales support or sales coordinating
6. An understanding of Incoterms would be beneficial
This Sales Coordinator role would suit someone who has worked in a customer service or sales environment and dealt with sales, enquiries, and processing technical orders. This role would suit someone who has worked as a customer support executive, customer service advisor, customer care coordinator, sales support, sales coordinator, or within logistics.
This is an office-based role and standard hours of work are 09.00-17.00; however, for the right candidate, flexible hours can be offered with a hybrid option of working 1-2 days at home.
