Job summary Applications are invited for an Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal Fellows for a twelve month post commencing in February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Ophthalmologists to broaden their training in modern techniques in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal surgery The post holder will be expected to participate in new and on-going research projects as well as present at national and international meetings. There are additional opportunities for exposure to Plastic and Maxillofacial surgery, Burns Management and on-site Mohs surgery. Main duties of the job Clinical duties include general ward care, surgery, Out Patient Clinics and after hours emergency cover for the Cornea and Oculoplastic services.Provide on call non-resident Ophthalmic services as above with responsibility to the on call Corneo-Plastic Consultant.Manage patients who present with, or develop, complications as a result of their condition or other issues arising during their admission, seeking senior help as required.The Fellow will be expected to participate in new and on-going projects as well as presentations at national and international meetings.Manage patients who present with, or develop, complications as a result of their condition or other issues arising during their admission, seeking senior help as required.Attend and contribute to departmental teaching sessions as possible/required.Take part in regular audit of own and other's practice and contribute data to individual outcome measures as requested by QVH.
