We are seeking a skilled Wet Paint Sprayer to join our clients team in Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various painting techniques and tools, with the ability to work effectively in a Manufacturing environment. This role requires experience as a time served production sprayer and the capability to use power and hand tools efficiently. The sprayer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to ensure high-quality finishes on various projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Mix paints and other materials according to specifications for optimal application. Apply paint using spray equipment while ensuring even coverage and quality finish. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process. Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order. Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed for various projects. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively. Familiarity with basic maths for mixing ratios and measurements is advantageous. Experience in fabricating or welding is a plus but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Pay / Salary Salary will be depending on experience and result of spray test.
