Position Title: Indirect Buyer
Duration: Contract - 12 Months
Location: Dunton, Essex
Rate: £29.00 per hour Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate
*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*
Position description:
1. Buyer responsible for working with internal Client stakeholders on procurement of Indirect goods & services - specifically sourcing/ monitoring an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) service contract with an external vendor at multiple Client locations.
2. Responsibilities include issuing orders, annual contract renewals, negotiating pricing or cost saving opportunities, monitoring supplier performance through KPI's (existing or to be developed), investigating issues and proposing issue resolution/ performance improvement strategies with the Clients' stakeholders.
Skills required:
3. Seeking an individual who is highly flexible, self-motivated, and an independent worker
4. Excellent English skills mandatory
5. Fully competent with Microsoft Office Tools
6. Excellent numerical & analytical skills and the ability to collect & analyse highly complex data
7. Knowledge of SAP Ariba procurement system
8. Strong business and commercial acumen and excellent written and verbal abilities
Skills preferred:
9. Negotiation skills very advantageous
10. Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building
11. Experience of working in cross functional teams is highly beneficial
12. Knowledge of Purchasing policies, procedures and system
