Role: Physical Education Teacher As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of physical activity. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of physical fitness, sports, and teamwork. Your role will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Physical Education lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5). Encouraging students to apply physical skills and teamwork in various sporting activities. Supporting students in their physical development, providing guidance and encouragement when needed. Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education. Contributing to the development of the Physical Education curriculum. Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Physical Education. Ensuring the effective delivery of the Physical Education syllabus. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Physical Education department. Key Qualities We Are Looking For: A strong passion for Physical Education and a desire to support students' physical development. A recognised teaching qualification in Physical Education, or equivalent. Experience in teaching PE to secondary-aged students is highly desirable. A passion for developing young people physically and mentally. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an encouraging and vibrant team.
