Caretaker/Cleaner
Permanent role, 32.5 hours per week (8am-3pm Monday to Friday)

Salary – Scale 3 scale point 3
£17,939 per annum (FTE £24,027)

Colne Valley High School are looking to recruit a Caretaker/Cleaner to join our dedicated team. The successful applicant will be responsible for Health & Safety, maintenance, cleaning, and security within Colne Valley High School.
We are looking to recruit a proactive individual that can work well independently. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise workloads using their own initiative to ensure all duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Part of your duties will include the daily unlocking of buildings and statuary buildings checks along with ensuring that a general level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the school grounds and student facilities. You will also be required to provide general maintenance of the school for example, changing light bulbs, putting up shelves, decorating, repairs to furniture, blinds etc.
