Are you a Project Manager with diverse project delivery experience across different business areas? Want to further your career, or perhaps start it, in the Financial Services sector? Do you have the desire to deliver in an environment that will truly value and acknowledge your project management expertise, and feel like you're delivering considerable impact in business change? Interested in adding global/international projects to your expertise? As a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with a duration of 12 months, this role will offer the potential of moving to a permanent Project Manager role if all variables align with your outstanding delivery in the position during the year. You will be joining a company in the Financial Services sector, working closely with the Head of Transformation who is passionate about delivering effective business change and transformation. Delivering alongside one other Project Manager and utilising the expertise of Business Analysts and Solution Designers, you will be a key team member engaging across the business which has an international presence. The confidence you instil in being able to pick up and deliver a variety of projects is crucial. You will be able to demonstrate a diverse proven delivery in project management, ideally utilising a flexible approach to frameworks (with qualifications in at least one). Day to day you will have a significant amount of autonomy, managing circa 3-4 projects simultaneously. These will vary across technology, systems, new office locations and organisational changes. You will conduct project catch-ups, planning and team meeting, whilst providing regular updates. Stakeholder engagement and working relationships will be broad across the business - ranging from tech teams, and 3rd party suppliers through to C-suite on a daily basis (all of whom carry great visibility throughout the business). You will be confident in your day to day project management, personable and take accountability. Depending on project workload, you may be engaged in requirements gathering, as well as some process mapping with Visio. As well as exposure to Visio, knowledge of tools such as Jira is also useful. Your working week will be hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office (or more if you prefer), situaqted centrally in London (near to Tower Bridge). There will often be some flexibility required based on project/stakeholder priorities, but a fair approach is taken by the company. Despite being an initial long term FTC, this does offer genuine permanent employment opportunities for you as the successful candidate. Please apply NOW to discuss this opportunity in more detail - final CV submissions will take place on the 6th January 2025.
