About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics support team as a Logistics Administrator.
The focus of this team is to remove unnecessary cost of goods, through providing information and visibility of carriage costs and service.
Your main responsibility in this busy role is to manage all freight shipments to the agreed standard. Communication is key in this fast paced team! It is essential to clearly communicate the right information at the right time and to the right people. You will liaise with both internal and external key contacts to ensure a clear and efficient operation at all times.
You will accurately log all bulk Imports and Exports for global warehouses and also arrange trailers for intra warehouse freight movements. Your outstanding attention to detail will ensure that the correct documentation is used for freight carriers. Strong organisational skills will make sure that deliveries and collections for worldwide shipments are arranged efficiently and successfully every single time.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous administration experience and good pc skills. A collaborative nature and a can-do attitude are key.
No two days are the same in this interesting role so flexibility and positivity will help you to remain optimistic in the face of setbacks.
This is a hybrid role. You will typically work 3 days a week onsite at our EMG Distribution Centre, near East Midlands Airport, or at the Lenton Head Office in Nottingham. The other 2 days can be spent working from home. Flexibility around this may be required to accommodate meetings and workload.
Are you up to the challenge? If so, apply now!
