Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse – Pre Assessment to join our team in the Pre Assessment department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and leading on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients.
The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting, proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team. They will possess strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
This is a Full time role at 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern. The role holder will be required to cover a range of duties including:
* Delivering high-quality nursing care and leading on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients
* Administering medication safely and monitoring patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols
* Delegating tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift
* Upholding a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures
