Our client, a prominent organisation within the energy sector, is looking for an Electrical Package Manager to join their team on a Greenfield Electrification Project. This is a contract role based in Leatherhead, offering hybrid working opportunities. The initial contract is for 12 months with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of major electrical packages for a normally unattended Greenfield facility.
Engage with both Greenfield and Brownfield aspects of the project, requiring interface engagement.
Serve as the focal point between the Client's PMT and the KBR PMT, as well as procurement and engineering teams.
Oversee major packages including Synchronous Condensers, CLRs, 110kV switchgear, transformers, switchgear, and VSD equipment.
Drive multi-functional delivery of the RFQ process, integrating with the construction team on ROS dates and build sequence.
Facilitate stakeholder buy-in and support engineering disciplines with a comprehensive understanding of the scope.
Resolve technical issues through a solid engineering background and prior experience with major equipment suppliers.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Client and prospective suppliers.
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in electrical engineering.
Understanding of electrical design principles and major equipment supplier engagements.
Experience in roles such as package engineer or package manager.
Familiarity with ICSS design is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with clients and suppliers.
Ability to work both on-site in Leatherhead and remotely as required.
