Read on Position: Credit Control Administrator Location: Glasgow Job Type: Full time, 6 month FTC, Monday to Friday, 37,5 hours Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum, DOE Benefits: 28 days annual leave increasing with length of service, plus 4 public holidays, private pension, healthcare cash plan, onsite parking, staff discounts and more Purpose of Role: A Credit Control Administrator will support the busy Finance Team, with a focus on Credit Control duties. Job Scope: You will join and work within a busy Finance Department with a strong focus on Credit Control. Key Responsibilities: • Manage company invoice disputes, liaising with both the client and the relevant Matthew Algie departments to resolve the dispute • Reconciling customers payment history on account to identify cash posting errors and providing the information to the cashier to correct • Point of contact with Credit Control Team to ensure dispute resolution is prioritised per the business needs • Maintain accurate accounting records • Assist daily with Credit Control inbox to ensure all requests for copies/statements actioned • Log all queries on D365 and followup with the relevant department for action • Assist with month end statement run, sorting statement manually and posting • Produce monthly excel statements to Key Accounts • Help with general telephone enquiries Experience: To be considered for this position, it is essential that you have demonstrable experience in a similar Finance position with high attention to detail and accuracy.
