Hays Business Support is delighted to be working with a growing construction company in the Aberdeen area. This position provides a unique opportunity to help develop the company's ambitious plans by collaborating and coordinating in this new role to positively impact the wider operations.
Your new role
You will maintain a comprehensive document control system to ensure the requirements of any specific project are met while leading the implementation of upgrading the document control systems. You will create templates and convert information from project teams into user-friendly documents whilst numbering and labelling for identification and reference. There will be scanning, copying, and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholders along with liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements. It is imperative to remain up to date with all company policies and procedures, industry legislation, and guidance. You will be expected to participate in internal audits as directed and be the focal point for all project documentation, accounting for all documentation received and transmitted, and have regular site visits to deliver training.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to be tenacious, with a flair for detail and accuracy, able to work independently, and handle a busy workload. You should also be engaging, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
