We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Sales Co-ordinator to join our clients sales team in Coventry. This is a supporting role where you are responsible for supporting sales activities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth internal and external communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate sales activity records.
2. Coordinate and schedule client meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
3. Prepare sales reports and presentations that provide insights into performance metrics and trends.
4. Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
5. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, delivering exceptional service to enhance client satisfaction.
6. Maintain an up-to-date database of leads and prospects, efficiently tracking interactions and follow-ups.
7. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support the development of sales strategies.
Required Skills
1. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
2. Knowledge of sales to trade an advantage.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective interaction with clients and team members.
4. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
6. A proactive and critical approach to problem-solving.
7. Previous experience in sales support in trade supply chain roles is advantageous, but not essential.
