Your new role as a Production Engineer will involve generating checklists for sales orders, issuing purchasing lists, and ensuring all paperwork and manuals are accurate. You will work with the Lead Engineer and Production Planner on pre-production planning, carry out Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and update Bills of Materials (BOMs). Your responsibilities will also include providing technical assistance to the design office, assisting in new product development, and ensuring the latest design revisions are maintained on the server. Additionally, you will liaise with customers, research and troubleshoot equipment issues, work to ISO-9001 standards, establish a tracking procedure for tools, assist in creating assembly and fabrication manuals, and carry out ISO audits.
What you'll need to succeed is experience in a similar role, proficiency in MS Office, and strong organisational and communication skills. You should have experience with ECR processes, BOM updates, and working to ISO-9001 standards.
