Your new role as a Production Engineer will involve:
1. Generating checklists for sales orders
2. Issuing purchasing lists
3. Ensuring all paperwork and manuals are accurate
4. Working with the Lead Engineer and Production Planner on pre-production planning
5. Carrying out Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
6. Updating Bills of Materials (BOMs)
7. Providing technical assistance to the design office
8. Assisting in new product development
9. Ensuring the latest design revisions are maintained on the server
10. Liaising with customers
11. Researching and troubleshooting equipment issues
12. Working to ISO-9001 standards
13. Establishing a tracking procedure for tools
14. Assisting in creating assembly and fabrication manuals
15. Carrying out ISO audits
What you'll need to succeed:
* Experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience with ECR processes and BOM updates
* Ability to liaise with customers and troubleshoot equipment issues
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask
