Working as a Rehabilitation Assistant; you will work under the guidance of the inter-disciplinary team (IDT) to contribute to the delivery of services based within Tickhill Road Hospital (TRH). If you don't already have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 2apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role]. As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. Main duties of the job o Carryout agreed therapeutic care plan/goals with patients under the direction and supervision of the multi-professional team.o Contribute to the promotion and maintenance of physical, psychological and social well being of patients in Activities of daily living e.g? Washing and dressing practice? Continence management? Hydration & nutrition needs? Mobility? Meal and drink preparation? Practising domestic activities e.g. laundry and shopping? Speech and language exercise programmes? Health promotion e.g. healthy eating?
