Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Support the head chef and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
* Participate in catering events as required, helping to set up and serve food items.
* Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
* Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
