Early Years Educator - Croydon - Summer Term Start
Pertemps Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Croydon for the summer term. This part-time position is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development and supporting young learners at the start of their educational journey.
Location: Croydon
Start Date: Summer Term
Contract: Part-Time, 2-3 days a week
Interview Date: ASAP
Salary: £105.00 - £110.00 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
1. Support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a mainstream primary school setting.
2. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and early learning.
4. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining clear and accurate records.
5. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to meet the needs of individual pupils.
6. Ensure a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning space.
Requirements:
1. Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or an equivalent relevant degree (essential).
2. Experience working with young children in a school or early years setting.
3. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
6. Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of individual learners.
