What we’re looking for…
As part of the Manufacturing team, the prime role will be to work within the Diessel process system ensure effective production of the RTD product to service the all production lines to allow these to produce to the preset production plan. This can include pasteurised and unpasteurised products. The secondary role will be to operate all other pieces of plant & equipment where necessary.
The Process Technical Operator is part of a team of Technical Operators operating on a shift basis,reporting to the Assistant Team leader in the day to day production.
Reports to Process Production manager / Process Room A/T/L.
Liaise regularly with the Planning team ensuring all Process Control sheets are in order and highlighting any potential restrictions to the production plan. (Ingredient / Plant availability)
Your responsibilities will include...
As a Technical Operator - Process your responsibilities will include;
1. To manufacture finished product to the highest standards
2. Prepare products for and manage up to 3 process lines.
3. Carry out all QA checks required, and also on all production equipment you may be stationed at.
4. Unload Bulk tankers, and carry out tests to ensure they are within the specifications.
5. Complete accurate stock checks on a daily basis.
6. Carry out all hygiene duties to a high standard, and operate a clean as you go policy..
7. Work closely with engineering when there are machine problems..
8. Carry out all duties in accordance with safe working practices and factory hygiene standards.
9. Strong problem solving ability
10. An ability to work on own initiative
11. Need to be flexible to react to short notice changes in the production plan and increased flavour changes across all process packaging lines.
12. Flexible in supporting operator cover for holidays and absence.
