Exciting opportunities have arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work within adult acute mental health services with Royal Cornhill Hospital.
Within Division A, we have a Senior Charge Nurse permanent post available, for Fraser Ward. This post is full time at 37.0 hours per week.
Fraser ward is an assessment and treatment ward, providing inpatient psychiatric care and treatment for adults aged 18-64 years old. The ward is part of, and located within, NHS Grampian’s Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Service.
Interested candidates should be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Mental Health Nurse or a Registered Learning Disability Nurse, who can evidence current or previous experience of working in a leadership role.
Applicants should have a caring and compassionate nature and have a genuine interest in working in an adult acute inpatient setting.
The successful applicant will have professional and managerial responsibility for the ward nursing team. This will include facilitating and providing clinical leadership within the ward while ensuring that a high standard of person-centred care is delivered to patients and their families.
Candidates should be keen and motivated to learn new skills and should demonstrate a willingness to engage in continuous professional development opportunities.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
