Calibration Engineer
Home based role covering London and the South East. As a Calibration Engineer, you will travel to client sites to service sensitive medical devices, laboratory equipment, and instrumentation in hospitals, health centres, and clinics.

Location: Home based, travelling around London and the South East with occasional trips around the UK as required. Ideally, you will be living in London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, or Essex.
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 + Overtime

A successful, high profile company providing calibration and repair services for medical equipment, healthcare instrumentation, and laboratory equipment requires a Calibration Engineer.
You will work from home and travel to sites to calibrate and carry out basic maintenance (and occasional repair work) on equipment at hospitals, clinics, and health centres. After completion of initial training, you will be working alone but will have comprehensive technical and administrative back-up. You will liaise with health service workers on a day-to-day basis during your work.
Responsibilities:
1. Calibrate and maintain medical devices and laboratory equipment.
2. Travel to various client sites across London and the South East.
3. Provide technical support and liaise with health service workers.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of commercial experience.
2. Qualified to HNC/HND in an appropriate electronics, science, or engineering discipline.
3. Smart personal appearance with excellent organisational abilities.
4. Good communication and customer care skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure.
6. Clean driving license and good navigation skills.
7. Calibration experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
The role will suit individuals currently working as a Calibration Engineer, Electronics Repair Engineer, Bench Engineer, Laboratory Instrumentation Technician, Medical Device Engineer, or Field Service Engineer, and living within a commutable distance of the specified areas or willing to relocate.
