As part of our on-going efforts to optimise and digitise HR and create a positive employee experience, this position will be the Company's HR Technology Specialist and will set the strategy in HR technology; leveraging social, mobile, analytics and cloud technologies to make HR more efficient. We have Workday as our global system across all Marshall businesses. Your responsibilities in this role include: Lead the Workday HR system and continue to shape our strategy and delivery plan Work with other business system owners to manage integrations with Workday Be the Design Lead for Workday and own the established change process and CAB Manage relationships with Workday account team and other 3rd party vendors Manage the configuration and design of Workday ensuring it meets the business' needs Manage the Workday support model and lead the HRIS team to triage, diagnose, and resolve system issues originating from end-users Deliver improvements in process efficiency and the employee experience Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimise system design Support Process Owners to deliver improvements in process efficiency and the employee experience Ensure data integrity by initiating audits and taking corrective actions Ensure compliance with data privacy, GDPR and any other relevant legislation Understand releases from Workday and the impact on the business; lead upgrades and testing activities from releases Continue to build on our suite of reporting solutions and enhance the value of people data in strategic and business decision making Apply if you have most of the following: Demonstratable experience in Workday HCM, UK Payroll, Reporting and Core Compensation. Prior experience in any of the following SKUs is highly desirable but not required: Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Talent and Performance, Integrations, Help & Journeys Functional knowledge of HR processes and Payroll practices Understanding of systems integrations and Workday's Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tool in building inbound and outbound interfaces Workday HCM (or equivalent) certification desirable Prior experience in a Workday leadership or system owner role, or experience in a Senior Workday technical role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) Able to partner with HR, IT Business Systems and other teams within the business to develop HR technology strategy, plan and execute proposals, and prioritise enhancements, as per the technology roadmap Strong stakeholder management ability and experience Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams to translate needs into solutions.
