Finance Officer – Payments and Receipts - 36.25 Hours
We own and manage around 12,500 homes within the Borough of Rochdale in Greater Manchester. We are the largest provider of affordable housing in the Borough and take very seriously our responsibility for supporting the people who live in our homes and communities to live well and thrive.

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team.
As part of a busy Finance team, you will deliver a full financial support service to the Society. Key duties include:
1. Provision of an invoice processing service
2. Reconciling supplier statements to the creditors ledger
3. Chasing invoices to ensure timely processing of documents
4. Training users on the Finance systems
5. Processing petty cash claims along with associated audits
6. Raising invoices for Sundry Debtors
7. Answering customer queries
8. Banking of income
9. Taking payments & processing direct debit payment runs
If you are a good team worker with the ability to communicate well, work accurately and on your own initiative, possess excellent skills in the use of computerised systems and Microsoft Office applications, and can work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines, then we’d welcome an application from you.
