An exciting opportunity has arisen for multiple motivated Payroll Administrators to join our Recruitment and Pay Teams providing a shared service across both Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East Councils in addition to council companies, schools, and academies.
The ideal candidates will have experience working in a payroll environment. Knowledge and understanding of HR and Payroll practice are essential, UNIT4 ERP system knowledge would be beneficial. These exciting Payroll Administrator vacancies play a key role delivering payroll administration for all employees, schools, and Council Businesses.
In addition to the above, these roles would suit someone with good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, a proactive and positive attitude, strong organisational and multitasking skills, who can manage pressure effectively and work on their own initiative within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Managing shared inboxes
* Managing and checking payroll data
* Dealing with payroll expenses and claims
* Responding to payroll and contractual queries
