Description We are looking for an established, highly motivated and passionate Product Assistant to join our in-house team at Footasylum. You will work with the Sourcing Manager to build relationships with internal and external departments, understand product costing structure and deliver efficiency to maximise commercial opportunities, through seasonal costing management, sample tracking and ordering consolidation. About You? The successful candidate should have at least 2 years in apparel/fabric sourcing & development experience. You should have knowledge of apparel and accessories product, supplier and costing and be proficient in Excel. Experience working with EU and South Asia offshore suppliers is preferable. The Team functions as part of the Supply Chain team and we work extremely closely with Apparel Design, Buying and Merchandising. Responsibilities Liaising with different stakeholders across apparel & accessories products negotiating cost prices, meeting target costs prices and ensuring required margin maintained Manage and maintain Master costing Files through weekly Factory file updates and comments Brand Price list management ensuring the team is updated with costs as we develop throughout the season Manage order placement from buying team consolidating volumes, feeding back final prices and factory agreed ex-factory dates Managing consolidation of Seasonal volume order internally and externally communicating with the vendors. Attend weekly Brand meetings sharing and receiving feedback across Brands and progress status across departments Control material master summary to support on all cross costing exercise & material approval Attend all fitting sessions of your allocated Brands support the team on costing visibility and provide suggestion on cost improvement.
