Scope iT Ltd is looking for a Finance Management Trainee.
The successful candidate will have graduated with a BSc in Finance & Accounting or equivalent and join a busy finance department in an established SME, Scope iT Ltd, Asbestos Consultants located in Atherton, Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities include:
1. Be part of our finance team handling day to day financial operations and reporting tasks.
2. Gather, comprehend, process, verify and report accounting-related information.
3. Complete professional, analytical and managerial support work tasks.
4. Assist the Finance Manager with the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
5. Carry out financial operations, invoicing management on Xero with data extractions from our Asbestos management software.
6. You will be confident with Xero, Google Sheets and be able to work with V Lookups and Pivot tables.
Activities Include:
1. Major Client Project Analysis - Monthly
2. Financial tracker management and analysis
3. Attend Weekly Management Meeting
4. Invoice Reconciliation
5. Assisting in the setup of new business accounts by:
* Credit checking new business to analyse business risk and exposure.
* Setting credit limits for new business and calculating exposure.
* Checking agreed payment terms.
1. Effectively managing debtors list & dealing with invoice queries.
2. Minimise business risk by proactively managing credit limits.
3. Liaising with stakeholders both internally and externally.
