Part Time Teacher - Secondary Schools - Swindon
Protocol Education are working with schools throughout Salisbury and the surrounding areas to appoint committed Cover Supervisors/Flexi-Teachers/Teachers to become a vital part of their teaching staff on a part time/cover basis.
The Role:
1. As a flexi-cover/part time teacher, you will work across all year groups as and when needed, either covering lessons due to staff absence or supporting certain classes and class teachers in learning.
2. Carry out work pre-set by class teacher to a high standard.
3. Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
4. De-escalate situations within the classroom in the correct way, certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered to.
5. Collect work at the end of the lesson and return it to the appropriate recipient.
6. Report any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
The role can either be based in the same school, or if you are open to day-to-day cover, we can also supply this. It can really work around your schedule and other commitments.
The Candidate:
1. Qualified Teacher Status is preferred; however, candidates with good, relevant experience will be considered.

3. A person who has a passion for instilling confidence, knowledge, and skills in children, helping them to become members of society later in life.
4. Somebody with a desire to go the extra mile for their students and truly influence their futures.

6. Excellent communication skills; verbal/written and reading comprehension.
7. Degree educated.
8. Proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children; this can be in any field.
9. Right to work in the U.K.
