The expectation is that the post-holder has relevant skills and knowledge in peripheral nerve surgery, as well as experience in brachial plexus and spasticity surgery.
Support will be provided to develop a related research portfolio, and the trust will endeavor to support any ongoing research associated with the applicant.
A multidisciplinary approach with the hand therapy team and surgical colleagues is expected within the department.
The department undertakes a comprehensive range of hand surgeries, with surgeons having specialist interests in spasticity, peripheral nerve, and wrist pathologies. Please note that paediatric patients are not treated at the trust.
