Thanet District Council's parking department is looking for a supervisor to join and take responsibility for the Civil Enforcement Officer team. This exciting opportunity would deal with the supervision of the officers who work across the district issuing penalty charge notices. Main Duties Day-to-day supervision of the Civil Enforcement Officers, including preparation of rotas, health and safety, risk assessments, general contract support with all parking contracts and managing performance. As a candidate, you should have good knowledge of parking regulations and legislation and have had proven experience of supervising staff and managing budgets and contracts. Preparing reports and experience in assessing and managing risk. The department is a busy working environment, and the ideal candidate must be able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. This can involve answering emails, attending meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and managing deadlines, all while maintaining a high level of productivity. Communication is key, and we regularly deal with members of the public, members and other stakeholders. The post requires you to have a driving licence and a vehicle to attend site visits and meetings.
