Overview The planner will be supporting the operations manager and project engineers on a various projects throughout the business Day to day work will consist of liasing with the Newcastle office to plan workload and capacity for incoming work to the manufacturing site and uploading this information into the system Some Key Responsibilities: Regularly updating systems – SAP, OnePM, Salesforce. Creating Project Schedules Support/Manage all scheduling & labour planning for workshop capacity. Raising of PO requisitions Liaising with third party vendors and suppliers, as necessary. Arranging Collection & Delivery to/from customers and suppliers. Collation and issue of final project reports. Financial completion of projects. Support workshop supervisor with input of timesheets. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a workshop planner role, within engineering or construction (or similar) Excellent communication skills Strong administration skills Good team player, but also can work on own initiative. Good understanding of production planning is highly desirable Commercial acumen is preferred. Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Previous experience working with Primavera P6 or simialar Experience with SAP is preferred but not essential as training can be provided RSR supports applications from a diverse talent pool.
