About the role
We are currently working with a well-renowned engineering client who is seeking to appoint a mechanically biased field-based service engineer!
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for technical support, repairs, and installations at customer facilities.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain a good relationship with customers
2. Carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown cover, and installations
3. Support and contribute to the development of safe systems of work, ensuring that company health and safety standards are followed
Your Skills & Abilities:
1. Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
2. Excellent technical knowledge of machine tool equipment
3. Mechanical experience
4. Ability to prioritise own workload, work to deadlines, and deal with conflicting work pressures
5. Ability to travel nationally at short notice. Paid overtime including paid travel expenses for all business activity
