The Role Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance and Operations: - Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the production facility, ensuring minimal downtime. - Manage building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting. - Ensure that all production-critical infrastructure, such as boilers, compressors, and chillers, is fully operational and efficiently maintained to meet a minimum of legal requirements Effluent and Wastewater Management: - Manage effluent treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. - Monitor wastewater discharge levels and quality, addressing issues promptly to avoid disruptions or penalties. - Liaise with local authorities and environmental agencies as required. Health, Safety, and Compliance: - Ensure the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in areas related to utilities and effluent. - Conduct regular risk assessments and manage fire safety and emergency protocols. - Maintain accurate documentation and records for inspections, audits, and certifications. Vendor and Contractor Management: - Coordinate with contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to the facility and utilities systems. - Manage service level agreements (SLAs) to guarantee high-quality services and value for money. Budget and Resource Management: - Prepare and manage budgets for facility-related expenses, including utilities, maintenance, and upgrades. - Track operational costs and identify opportunities for savings without compromising on quality or safety. Sustainability Initiatives: - Support the business efforts to minimize the facility's environmental impact, including energy use, effluent discharge, and waste management. - Implement and promote sustainability initiatives aligned with Warp Snacks' environmental goals. Knowledge Requirements: - Previous experience of Facility equipment – Compressors, Boilers, fire systems, Effluent Management, General building repairs etc. - Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Demonstrate a genuine appetite to lead activities to improve asset reliability. - Facilities or Engineering background essential. - Good communication and decision-making skills - Computer literacy essential Microsoft office - Ability to prioritise workload based on impact to site. - Strong organisational skills, ensuring all service reports are filed appropriately & available for regular audits.
