Our client is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join their growing team.
The role of the Contracts Manager - Commercial Cladding Systems will involve:
1. Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage through to completion.
2. Monitoring all site activity; organizing site workers, collating risk assessments, and carrying out health and safety checks.
3. Liaising with clients and providing project reports.
4. Attending pre-contract and progress meetings with clients.
5. Procuring required materials to ensure smooth project completion.
6. Overseeing project designs and making amendments as required.
7. Maintaining a good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
8. Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems.
9. Managing projects that range in value between £500k to £3m.
The ideal applicant will have:
1. Contracts Manager experience within the commercial cladding markets sector with a working knowledge of rainscreen systems.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Sound knowledge of current building and fire regulations.
4. IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
5. A full UK driving license.
6. Confidence and articulation.
7. The ability to plan and organize deliverables.
