Summary We are in search of a dedicated GCO Risk and Response Director who will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of an Integrated Risk Management framework, objectively elevate the quality, timeliness, and budget performance of our trials, and effectively manage disruptions affecting our operational deliverables. The RRI Director will be responsible for defining GCO's capacity to absorb stress, deflect disruptions, recover critical functionalities, and thrive in altered circumstances. About the Role Accountabilities: Embed an Integrated Risk Management framework within GCO Define mechanisms, terminologies, and processes for risk management within GCO Drive identification and analysis of risk trends and ensure implementation of appropriate mitigations Activities & Interfaces: Identify potential enterprise risks in GCO and assess risk information provided by GCO Areas Coordinate operational risk/issue management contingency planning activities Work with teams inside & outside of GCO to conduct impact assessments and develop strategies for mitigating business continuity risks Key Performance Indicators: Defined and communicate GCO Risk Strategy Implemented Integrated Risk Management framework across GCO Effective management of disruptions and progress key projects Job Dimensions: No direct associates; involves matrix management across all major global sites No direct financial responsibilities; critical impact on strategic operations decisions and multi-million dollar development assets Ideal Background: Bachelor degree in life science or business; fluency in English 10 years industry experience, 7 years cross-functional international leadership experience Advanced understanding of the drug development, Clinical process Strong risk management, strategic thinking and analytical skills High resiliency, strong organizational awareness, and a willingness to continually develop oneself This is a fantastic opportunity to hold a critical role within our organization and to work on high-value projects across divisions.
